So I know the weekend is almost over (sad) but we still have all day today to enjoy our freedom.
And because it’s a Bank Holiday, there are loads of fun things happening accross the country.

Rush Harbour Festival, Dublin.
The Rush Harbour Festival is back this August Bank Holiday weekend and this year they have added outdoor movies to the festival! And with weather like this, talk about perfection.

Skibbereen Arts Festival, Cork.
The Skibbereen Arts Festival is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of this beautiful part of the country. This is the tenth anniversary of the festival, and the programme promises to be one of the best yet.
As ever, the festival features a number of different disciplines in its line-up, with highlights this year including musical performances from Roseann Cash and Lunasa, and a staging of Declan O’Rourke’s Chronicles of the Great Famine song cycle.

Féile 30, Belfast.
Celerating 30 years, Féile an Phobail returns with a bumper line-up of acts which includes street theatre, concerts, discussions, debates and readings in what is the largest community festival and summer school in Ireland! Other noteworthy events include Cara Dillon in concert at the stunning Clonard Monastery, headliner Olly Murs and the Wolfe Tones both playing at Falls Park.

Enjoy this celebration of Irish heritage, crafts and arts at the Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival tomorrow!
This festival is free to the public and is now in its 33rd year. With five jam-packed days, there’s plenty to see and do. You can enjoy free craft and arts demonstrations from glass-blowing, spinning, weaving and basket-making to thatching and trashing. Try making some pottery, meet the makers, enjoy street entertainment, take in a live concert by country and western singer Lisa McHugh, sample the artisan food, visit the animals, marvel over vintage displays and have a blast at the funfair.
