Not only is there mochas and lattes in plentiful supply for mums and dads (bliss), the lovely people at Dundrum have also laid on a packed schedule of frightfully fun events and treats for little visitors.
Most importantly, they open at 9am (ideal for early risers) and everything stays open until 9pm midweek (perfect for a stroll after dinner when it's raining outside). On weekends the action continues until 7pm.

1. Experience Jackula at The dlr Mill Theatre
Take your seats for a sensationally spooky (and very funny) performance of Jakula by the brilliant dlr Mill Theatre crew on Sunday, October 29th at 4pm. Ms Ali’s Stage School will also be doing performances on Town Square on Saturday, October 28th.
2. Take a pottery painting workshop
Little hands love messy crafts and you can let them enjoy every second (without worrying about the clean-up) with Giddy Studios at Dundrum Town Centre . Let their imaginations run wild and take home a bespoke piece of pottery, hand painted by your talented offspring, to treasure forever.
3. Visit the face painter
From fearsome tigers to terrifying witches, the Dundrum Town Centre face painter can bring your Halloween personality to life. Face painting will take place on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31st from 12pm-3pm on Level 3.
4. Choose your costumes at Halloween HQ
Need some inspiration for Halloween 2017? Halloween HQ, Europe's leading dedicated Halloween retailer is now open on Level 2. Your one stop shop for everything scary, you'll find all your little monsters could possibly need inside.
5. Solve a mystery with Scooby Doo
Scooby-Doo...where are you? There are four codes hidden within Dundrum Town Centre for you to find, scan and solve clues! Simply download Zappar, the free app, and unlock these fun augmented reality games by scanning the poster and watch the gang come to life as you help find villains and the all-important Scooby Clues.
It couldn't be easier:

2. Find the clues on the Mall and scan them using the camera on Zappar
3. Watch the gang come to life and join in as you help Scooby-Doo solve clues
You can even take a selfie with Scooby-Doo himself! Don't forget to upload your photos to your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and use #ScoobyDooDundrum. If that wasn't enough fun, you can get your paws on your very own free Scooby-Doo colouring sheets to take home!
6. Visit Hotel Chocolat
Once the kids are smiling, swing by the brand new Hotel Chocolat on Level 1 for a Tiddly Vampire Hot Chocolate. While you’re there, browse everything from elegant gift boxes of chocolate to imaginative takes on your everyday chocolate fix, all made according to their mantra – More Cocoa, Less Sugar.
