If you're looking for something different to do with the kids this Saturday in Dublin city centre you have to check out this amazing event at Alliance Française. The award-winning French school are hosting a day not to be missed, filled with food, fun and freebies! Taking place this Saturday, September 8 from 11 am to 5 pm, those attending are in for many a treat. On the day there will be free shows for children, French pastry, goodies, competitions, French course tasters, and workshops at The French Library. Alliance Française is located on Kildare Street, Dublin 2 and children of all ages and their parents are welcome completely free of charge with no booking required. Known for their innovative programme "A Petits Pas" for toddlers and their parents, Alliance Française also hosts events for children and adults annually, bringing a little bit of France to Ireland. Many child experts have suggested that the earlier a child is introduced to a second language, the easier it is for them to learn it and I'll definitely be looking into their courses for toddlers for my little one.
