Beloved children’s tale The Tiger Who Came To Tea will air on Christmas Eve

Melissa Carton

We’re so excited.

So many of us growing up, myself included, loved reading The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

My youngest child received a copy for her birthday this year and she absolutely adores it so I was delighted to see that a TV adaption is coming this Christmas that we can watch together.

Yes that’s right, if you’re a fan of this classic tale it will be hitting our TV screens on Christmas Eve and I can’t wait!

Lupus Films have created an animated version of The Tiger Who Came To Tea and it looks amazing.

The film studio recently announced their tiger-tastic project along with a sneak peek of what we can expect and we’re so excited and so are the studio;

“We’re very excited to share with you the trailer for our new hand-drawn animated Christmas special, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, based on the book by Judith Kerr, which will air on Channel 4 this Christmas Eve in the prime time 7.30pm slot.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for all the hard work that went into making this beautiful film.”

Airing on Christmas Eve, it’s the perfect film to snuggle up to before bedtime and of course the arrival of Santa. It’s also a great way of sharing this timeless tale with the next generation.
