Since then, Future has been vocal about Ciara allegedly not allowing him to see their son, making multiple public statements about her.
However, these claims were shut down by a source close to Ciara as they told told PEOPLE that she believed he was using the attention to 'promote his music.'
"He does not nor has he ever paid $15,000 in child support. It’s just not true," the source told the publication.
"Ciara has never prevented him from seeing his child."
More recently, when on an episode of Stepping Into The Shade Room, Ciara said a lot by saying nothing when asked by host Thembi Mawema about the former couples co-parenting status.
"What is co-parenting like for you guys?” Mawema asked, which resulted in Ciara breaking into a fit of laughter that lasted for more than 15 seconds.
Understanding and taking the laughter as an answer, she joined in, "I’m dead," she said, and Ciara added, "You’re awesome."
Many viewers have since taken to the comments section of the Instagram post to discuss and also join in on the humorous side of the answer. "*Somebody said she laughed in Full Custody *" one wrote. "I have exact same reaction when someone asks about my sons dad" another posted. "The most classy way to say, “HE ain’t sh*t," another joined in. "That laugh told us everything we needed to know!" one user wrote. "There was a lot said in that little 7 chuckles and we understood it all," another said. "That laugh was a full sentence... A paragraph in fact," another quipped. Ciara and husband Russell Wilson, 34, are currently expecting their third baby next year. The couple are already parents to daughter Sienna Princess, 6, and son Win Harrison, 3.Explore more on these topics:
