Happy birthday, mummy! How George, Charlotte and Louis threw Kate a lockdown party

Another lockdown birthday.

The Duchess of Cambridge recently turned 39, but as England are currently in yet another strict lockdown due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the bubbles and big celebrations had to be put on hold for now. Kate, like the rest of us, had to celebrate her birthday lockdown style. But according to royal sources, that doesn't shound too shabby indeed.

According to the Daily Mail, sources said Kate spent a ‘quiet birthday’ with a tea party organised by her husband, Prince William, and children George, seven, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two.

The Cambridges thanked everyone who sent the Duchess well wishes on her birthday.

"Thank you for your kind wishes on The Duchess’ birthday.

The Queen, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall all sent birthday wishes on their social media channels.

As to what the future queen has been up to lately, sources confirm that Kate’s focus over the next couple of months will be home-schooling George and Charlotte (just like the rest of us, so) and expanding her Early Years initiative, to help the next generation, which she launched last autumn.
