Jack and Emily remain the most popular baby names among Irish parents… for the eighth and fourth year running, respectively.
It seems Irish mums and dads can’t get enough of the top five choices. Jack, James, Daniel, Conor and Sean have topped the list for boys since 2007, while Sophie, Emma, Grace and Ava were the most popular names chosen for baby girls.
Ollie was the highest new entry on the boys list, at number 87, while Evie and Annie are rapidly gaining ground on the girls list.
