Kate Middleton breakfast

It seems rather normal, actually.

If you have ever wondered what glamorous royals tuck into for breakfast, you might just be about to find out.

And – unsurprisingly – it is pretty healthy.

According to MailOnline, the Duchess of Cambridge likes to start her day with a super-nutritious green juice or smoothie.

A source told the paper that the 39-year-old likes to blend a combination of kale, spirulina (a type of algae), matcha (green tea leaves), spinach, romaine, coriander and blueberries together for her healthy morning drink.

As well as smoothies, Kate also often tucks into a bowl of porridge in the morning, a fulfilling choice that makes sure she is filled with energy for her busy day of parenting tasks and royals duties.

As for her three little ones, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and little Prince Louis, 2, it seems they have a pretty healthy start to their day too.

Last year, the Duchess visited  LEYF (London Early Years Foundation) Stockwell Gardens Nursery and Pre-school in London, where she helped serve breakfast to children and spoke of her own kids’ favourite foods.

Speaking to Today.com after the visit, school manager Michelle Samuels revealed:

“She mentioned to there of the children that her own children enjoy apples and cereal in the morning, which sparked a conversation with the children about their own preference of fruits.”

Cereal and fruits – sounds pretty normal to us.
