Kate Middleton says this to her children all the time and you’ll just love it

Kate Middleton’s parenting tip is just so sweet.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended an official engagement at Basildon Sporting Centre yesterday and during the appearance, one woman came forward with a big hug for Kate.

Greeting Janet Emery, Kate responded with a huge thank you and then spoke about the importance of affection.

The mum of three chatted about how she always tells her children that affection is necessary.

“Thank you very much. Hugs are very important. I keep saying that to my children”.

Awwwwww.

Yesterday’s engagement saw the Duke and Duchess meet with representatives of Coach Core, an organisation that provides unique and exciting sports apprenticeships.

They got involved with the games too and it looks like they thoroughly enjoyed it.

This isn’t the first time Kate has spoken about her children as she recently revealed that one of their favourite things to do together is to hunt for spiders.

Her first official royal engagement after returning from maternity leave was at Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden.

During the visit, she chatted to a number of children and explained that she often searches for spiders and other “mini-beasts” in the garden with George and Charlotte.

Baby Louis is obviously a little young for this particular hobby but no doubt he’ll catch on soon enough…
