Kidsfest 2020 is coming to the RDS Dublin in April and it’s completely free

This looks like so much fun!

It honestly feels like the kids are just back in school after the Christmas holidays and now they have their midterm break.

The next thing you know it’s going to be the Easter holidays and no doubt lots of family day trips out.

All these family adventures can add up to be quite costly though which is why this free event should definitely be put on your list of things to do this April.

Kidsfest 2020 takes place Sunday April 26 in the RDS, Dublin.

Kidsfest is a completely free day for families where children and parents alike can try out everything new and innovative in science, technology, education, health and well-being, extracurricular activities, top primary and secondary schools and learning supports.

Parents and children can expect an extravaganza of fun and learning with entertainment, children’s book authors, special talks and workshops and the power of the imagination!

Parents and children of all ages, from tots to 12 years, can meet a host of parenting and lifestyle experts as well as education specialists and representatives from Ireland’s leading entertainment, learning and leisure industries.

I love when I can find events that cater to all ages. Having a toddler and an almost eight-year-old it can be challenging to find events that they will both enjoy but Kidsfest seems to tick all the boxes.

The day-long programme will have a variety of special talks and workshops on the main stage which will host some well-known authors and celebrity guests.

The Serpentine Hall in the RDS will be the main exhibitor area with 40 stands and there will be lots of free entertainment.

Kidsfest is completely free but those wishing to attend are advised to pre-book their tickets in advance. You can book your free family tickets through the Kidsfest website here.
