The mum-of-four has been opening up about the horrific messages she’d received online.
Rebekah Vardy has been sharing a look at some of the messages she and her husband, Jamie Vardy, have received threatening their daughter’s safety.
The mum is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Frankie Bridge’s series, Celeb Trolls: We’re Coming To Get You, to discuss those who threatened to rape her two-year-old daughter Sofia.
The disgusting threats were made after Rebekah shared a picture of her daughter with her dad after a Leicester City game.
“She’d been at a football game, and looked really cute with a clip in her hair,” Rebekah told Frankie.
“She was in Jamie’s football kit and I put a picture of her on social media, and someone responded saying she deserved to be raped.
“I don’t think I’ve ever read anything as disgusting. I was distraught.”
Rebekah and Jamie went to the police after the comments were posted, however, they were unable to prosecute after the IP address was traced back to India.
“I feel like I don’t want to go out of the house like I don’t want to go anywhere that someone would recognise me, especially if I’m with my children.”
The 35-year-old is no stranger to online attacks, and previously revealed trolls had said they wished her son had been stillborn.
She was even blamed when rumours circulated that her husband Jamie was leaving Leicester City football club, with football fans harassing her at her home, waiting outside her door and ringing her door bell throughout the night.
