Gisele is one of the world’s most successful supermodels but she is also a mum of two and has a pretty hectic (albeit luxurious) life.
The 34-year-old revealed her secret to coping with the demands of her career and family in a recent interview with People.
“I had to make some adjustments form what my life was like before I was a mom,” she revealed. “My kids are so fun and loving, but they are demanding!”
She added that organisation is key and that, when she is feeling overwhelmed, she takes some personal time to herself.
“I noticed every time I felt overwhelmed I would hold my breath. I had to learn to stop, relax and take long deep breaths and within seconds I would feel more clear and ready to deal with the situation in a more loving way.
“Meditation also has been a wonderful tool. I notice that when I don't take the time to do it, I am not as centered, patient or clear.”
While we’re sure that she’s not the first mum to take a few deep breaths when things get crazy, we love how down-to-earth Gisele is and will be taking her tip to have a bit of me time!
