No matter what age they are – time seems to slip by that bit more swiftly when you’ve kids about the house.
In fact, at times the milestones, the memories, and the achievements all whizz past in a bit of a blur.
It’s a sentiment we reckon even Katie Holmes, 38, knows all about. Back in 2006 she and her then-husband Tom Cruise welcomed their daughter; they were one of the most famous couples of the era and Suri’s birth prompted a media frenzy.
Now little Miss Cruise is 11-years-old, and more in more recent times, we haven’t seen a whole load of her (kudos to mama, for that).
However, she and Katie attended the Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York; mummy-daughter pair got up to introduce Taylor Swift before her performance – and we have to say that Suri looks so grown up and cute right now.
“She’s one of our favorite performers,” Ms Holmes told the crowd. “And who is it tonight?” Suri added: “Taylor Swift!”
For the occasion, the girl wore a black dress with a star motif and plenty of tulle. Suri also accessorised with a red ribbon in her hair, and warm navy-blue wool tights (temperatures aren’t rising much above freezing in NYC at the moment).
Katie herself kept things pretty casual in faded black denim jeans and a long-sleeved cream top.
Earlier this year, InTouch Weekly claimed that Tom Cruise, 55, has very little contact with Suri – and that he hasn’t actually seen her in about four years.
Certainly, the last time the actor was photographed with his youngest child was back in the summer of 2012 when they went to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in Florida.
