Take Our Poll: Would You Pay For Help With Night Feeds?

Sharyn Hayden

Poor Chrissy Teigan. The model and mother-to-be is the subject of much ridicule online at the moment in response to what can only be described as ‘I trusted the human race to be cool’ comment.

When asked what was the best parenting advice that she and husband John Legend had received so far, she told US Weekly;

“The recommendation of a night nurse! It’s pretty unanimous. Everyone was like, ‘If you can do it, do it.’ So we’re going for it!”

Now, I’m well aware that some of my parenting choices haven’t quite agreed with everyone (*coughs* my dad when I chose not to christen the kids) but thankfully, those choices weren’t played out on Twitter.

No such luck for Lady Teigan who has had to deal with this horse manure;

Yup, and so the None-Of-Our-Business-But-We’re-Getting-Involved-Anyway Brigade continue.

Personally, I have to say this: yes, we did all of the work ourselves when it came to feeding our two babies through the night, but that is NOT to say that I wouldn’t have gotten someone to take over here and there if we could have afforded it.

I think it would have been nice to get up and feed, kiss and cuddle the babies when they needed it and then head off back to bed until the next session, safe in the knowledge that a responsible person was taking care of everything else.

How about you? Would you pay someone to give you a hand with the night feeds?
