Did you know that a newborn baby can go through nine nappies a day at a cost of around 21c each? And that’s before you even begin to think about starting a college fund.
Luckily there’s a savvy bunch of tech nerds on the case and they’ve come up with the BabyDoc, a free app that brings supermarket special offers on baby products directly into the hands of shoppers via their smartphone.
Special offers are separated into seven different product categories: nappies, wipes, food, milk, drinks, toiletries and accessories and the app is updated 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure the special offers included are always up to date. All the major supermarkets are represented with more coming on stream in the coming weeks so you can search for deals closest to your location and compare them with stores in other areas.
