When it comes to new mums, there's information everywhere to help you prepare for a baby. But, what about the dads?

Thankfully, his survival guide has arrived. 'Quick Tips for New Dads,' is an app that aims to guide new and soon-to-be dads throughout pregnancy, birth, and right up until the baby is a couple of months old. It features 11 comprehensive 'How To' pieces to cover tricky subjects like how to change a nappy, prepare a bottle, and (most fear-inducing for a new dad) bath time. The app is a treasure trove of hundreds of tips from dads that have been there and done that and are willing to share their advice. 'Quick Tips for New Dads,' even goes as far as encouraging users to submit their own tips to be included in the app. It's got stress busting tips, all the handy checklists you could ever want, and hundreds of fun photos to keep him amused while he learns.

"When your baby is born, you suddenly feel a huge weight of responsibility and quickly realise that this tiny bundle of life is completely dependent on you," says app creator Dave Jones. "About a week after birth, I went for a quick pint with some other dads I’d met through our local parenting group. It soon became apparent that we all felt we wanted a quick database of practical information, ideally with loads of pictures to show us what to do. That’s how I came upon the idea of Quick Tips for New Dads."
