This rare footage of a baby born inside its amniotic sack (also known as birth en caul) is an stunning insight into our babies lives before their birth.
The footage has been viewed nearly 12 million times since it was uploaded to
Facebook earlier this week.
As rare as this birth is, there was another birth en caul this year a video of which also surfaced online.
In this clip uploaded to Facebook by Jasmine Perez, the little one seems to think that he is still inside the womb as he wriggles about giving mums-to-be an idea of what's causing all those little jumps and kicks in their bellies. The video also shows the doctor releasing the newborn from his sack.
The video has been viewed over 20 million times and has received almost 60,000 shares.
