There are some gifts that money can't buy. Having a loved one home for Christmas is often one of them. This year however, Ruth Steven's children Alfie and Lily got the surprise of their lives when they unwrapped a mysterious gift that appeared in their living room. Inside? Their daddy Scott, a Royal Navy engineer, who had been at sea for a three-month stint on the Mediterranean. Posting the video on Facebook, Ruth said:

"Elf brought daddy home early for Xmas Scott Lee Stevens people keep asking to share it so feel free guys if it puts a smile on people's faces this Xmas xxxx."
