"It was now or never", says Anna, when we asked about the impending arrival. "While we still have all the baby stuff at the house, and we're happy and healthy as a family, there really wasn't a better time".Like most mums who already have children but are pregnant again, the question of when to tell the kids is one that Anna and her husband have already decided upon.
"They have no idea!", she says. "As I'm only four month's gone, it would be a very long five months more for the kids to wonder when the baby is coming. We'll try to get away with it for as long as possible and tell them right before the baby is due".Preparation for Weekend AM starts on Thursday each week, as Anna has on location pieces to record for the show and lots of scheduling for the busy Saturday and Sunday shows. Then on Mondays, the mum catches up with herself and the kids at home.
"The balance is great because while it's very full-on Thursday to Sunday, I then have a few days together to really get on top of everything at home all over again. And of course, spend some really good quality time with the kids".Now that Anna has added brand Ambassador for the new Family Card App that Mothercare Ireland have launched to her list of things to do, we predict an extra-hectic time ahead for the busy mum. By all accounts, she can certainly handle it. Join the conversation on Twitter @HerFamilyDotie
