Dealz Ireland has recalled one of their children’s toys that has been on sale since December 2022.

The toy has been issued a recall by the Competitions and Consumer Protection Commission due to potential choking risk.

The issue with this toy is that the small balls at the end of the playing sticks detach.

The alert reads: “Once detached, the balls may be placed in the mouth and swallowed, presenting a choking hazard for young children”.

The brand associated with this recall is ‘Small & Bright,’ the Dealz product code is 596315, and the barcode is 5059334963159.

The recall notice has also confirmed that the item has been on sale since December 8, 2022, with around 136 units of the affected product being sold in Ireland.

The CCPC has warned customers that they should stop using the toy immediately and keep it out of reach of children.

Anyone who has bought this product should also return it to any Dealz store, and a receipt of purchase is not required.
