Victoria Beckham Reveals What She Eats To Stay Slim (And It’s Actually Rather Normal)

Her fashion line might be out of financial reach for the majority of us, but when it comes to her beauty routine, Victoria Beckham reveals that her favourite product for keeping her skin soft and glowing, is in fact from the supermarket.

Yep, you heard me. Instead of using expensive cosmetic products, the 42-year-old fashion designer says coconut oil – which most of us use for cooking – is better than anything on the market for moisturizing your body.

Victoria shared her top three beauty tips in an exclusive interview with This Morning, Victoria explained: “Number one I would say coconut oil. So I use coconut oil – the kind of oil that you would cook with – I use it all over my body as well because it’s really, really moisturizing , so I would say coconut oil.”

When it comes to what she eats, the busy fashion designer mama-of-four explained that she favours eating a “balanced diet” packed with “good fats” such as “avocado, nuts and lots of oily fish” – and always taking off your makeup before you go to bed.

When it comes to her interest in beauty and looking after her skin, Mrs Beckham explained that she used to watch her mother Jackie get ready when she was growing up.

“I remember when I was really young and I was going to school and my mum would get out her lipstick from her bag and put a little bit of her lip on my cheek and she’d tell me that I looked a bit peaky and try to liven me up a little bit, if you like.

The former Spice Girl explains: “I’ve always loved makeup, I’m very, very girly, I used to sit and watch my mum get ready, my mum is very glamorous and I remember sitting on her bed and watching her apply her makeup, get dressed and do her hair … I like to make the best of what I have, I’m not a supermodel, clearly, I’m not a makeup artist, I’m a real woman.”
