A second-hand buggy is selling at almost €200,000 thanks to a disgruntled dad’s honest description

The dad of three describes the buggy as "a green albatross"

A second-hand Phil & Teds buggy is selling for almost €200,000 thanks to one dad’s very detailed and disgruntled advert on eBay.

The dad of three who lives in Southampton, England stated in his seller’s description that he never wanted any children and that the buggy signifies everything that ended his happy, carefree, low-cost, child-free life.

He goes on to say, “All of my children are now walking (often in completely the wrong direction) but someone else deserves to give this a good home. Over the years, I have collected spare bits from other zombified fathers who were once full of life, and I will throw these in as well.”

Despite his rant, the piece is lighthearted, and we’re sure that he was just being tongue-in-cheek when summarising that his life is over.

The bidding, which started at £9.99, is now at over £150,000. Although judging by the seller’s response to some of the questions on the listing, he is sceptical about the full sum being paid into his account. If it does, we reckon it will help his wife forgive him for some of the things he said about her and their children in his advert.
