Ben Foden is spending the New Year with his eldest children
Ben Foden has surprised his children with a pretty special trip to mark the new year.
The sportsman and his wife Jackie have been sharing clips from their family skiing trip.
The dad-of-three whisked his family away on a ski trip after his children travelled from Ireland to spend the New Year in America.
Ben Foden took his family to the Mount Southington Ski Area for their first ski trip.
Ben and Jackie couldn’t believe how incredible Aoife and Tadhg were at skiing.
The proud dad praised his kids for adapting so quickly.
“Today we tried skiing. They took to it like ducks to water,” the dad wrote.
He continued: “They’ve never skied before ever.”
The family’s trip comes after Ben and Jackie revealed they were expecting their second child together.
They announced the joyous news on Instagram in November.
Ben previously opened up about co-parenting with his ex-wife Una Healy.
The dad said it can be difficult because they live so far apart, but they always put their two children first.
“Una has been very accommodating because she wants Aoife and Tadhg to have a relationship with Farrah,” he told OK!
He explained: “She sends me their school schedules as soon as possible so we can get flights booked for them.
“But I know the distance and the fact their mum and dad aren’t together anymore isn’t ideal,” Ben said.
