‘Celebrity mum’ has two children taken away after claims of neglect

A "celebrity mum" has had her two children taken away and put into foster care after claims of neglect.

The mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has allegedly been neglecting her children while focusing on her own "glitzy" lifestyle. She is also alleged to have assaulted one of her children in public. The Sun reports that social services intervened after a member of the public witnessed the assault on the child and that officers discovered many other issues existing in the household. A source told the publication:

“She has been struggling to cope recently. They are lovely kids, very well mannered but she won’t give up her celebrity life to concentrate properly on them and things have all got a bit too much.” “Social services got involved after she was accused of pulling her son’s hair. Then further problems came to light.”

The newspaper states that a judge has already placed the two children with a foster family near to their £1 million home. The mother is said to be a "well-known" television personality.
