“I want them to do whatever makes them happy”

Given the global fame and success of the Kardashian family, you’d be forgiven for thinking that their parents would be urging their kids to follow in their footsteps.

However, this isn’t the case for Kim, as she recently opened up her hopes and dreams for her four children, North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.

The Kardashian sister shares her four kids with her ex-husband, Kanye West.

While speaking to Maverick Carter on his show, ‘Mavericks with Mav Carter‘, the SKIMS founder shared that as long as her kids grow up doing what they love, she will be happy.

When asked if she would take the route of ‘Momager’ like her own mum, Kris Jenner, the media mogul simply replied: “I want them to do whatever makes them happy.”

‘The Kardashians’ star also revealed that her two eldest kids, North and Saint, have already started showing their strengths and interests.

“I already see what they’re into and like the creative energy from them and I kind of can tell maybe where my two older ones are going to go.

“North, for sure, feels like a creative. Saint feels like a creative.”

Her two younger children, Chicago and Psalm, have yet to display interests that may give insight to the careers they’ll possibly enter.

“The little ones, Chicago and Psalm? If you ask Psalm what he wants to do, he wants to be like a truck driver or anything with a truck.

“That’s like been his Halloween costume for like three years.”

Meanwhile, right now all Chicago wants to be is a ‘princess’.

Regardless of what her children end up pursuing, Kim vows never to ‘push’ them into anything just because they were born into the Kardashian family.

“But I definitely see it in North and I think that I won’t ever push her to do anything.

“It’s whatever she finds her passion in. … It’s more about what she cares about.”

That mindset, Kim explained to Carter, is one that comes from wanting to protect her kids from the pressures of growing up famous.

“I grew up so normal, not in the fame world. I couldn’t even imagine.

“I want to make sure I can protect her [North] as much as I can, with her parents being who they are.”
