Olly Murs is going to be a dad!
Olly and his wife Amelia have confirmed that they’re expecting their first child together.
The pair shared a snap to Instagram in which Amelia can be seen showing off her baby bump while Olly holds a picture of the baby scan.
The singer could be seen smiling from ear to ear as he pointed at Amelia’s bump.
The photo, believed to have been taken at the couple’s home, was captioned: “Baby Murs due 2024”.
The beautiful news comes less than six months on from when the couple tied the knot in July.
The pair got married as part of a two-day festival on the private Osea island in Essex.
The wedding, which was nicknamed Murs Fest, saw a number of big musical names perform, including Olly himself and fellow singer Craig David.
A total of 71 people joined the couple on the Friday night for a BBQ before they exchanged vows the following afternoon.
Olly said before the big day that he had unexpectedly ended up heavily planning his wedding. He said: “I’m a groomzilla. I never expected it, I thought I’d be the opposite.”
Speaking before the wedding, Murs said that he was looking forward to having children in the near future, commenting: “We’re ready to have our own little Murs running around. It’s so special that we’ll be able to take our kids to Osea Island one day and say: ‘This is where we got married’.”
In a different interview with OK! Magazine, he said: “I’m not sure I’m going to go for six kids, but of course I’d love to have children.”
Now they’ve finally took things that one step further.
