However, it’s all fun and games until it ends up in your or your child’s hair.
Oftentimes, the squishy substance will need to be cut from the strands — this is usually after multiple attempts (and tears) of trying to remove it.

One TikTok user has shared a proven way they get the slime to wash out of hair without any hassle or effort.
Kate Bast (@thebastfamily) began by saying that this is “the parenting hack” she wished she “knew sooner”.
Straight away, viewers can see that the mum has been the target of a homemade slime mishap as the ends of her hair are matted with a blue and glittery substance.
However, she does not look worried. In fact, she is smiling – which wouldn’t be my first response to potentially losing the length of my hair.
“If you find slime stuck in your hair, you can use white vinegar to get it out quickly, and that’s it,” Kate reveals, as the slime effortlessly parts away from locks.
It really is that simple.

Many parents backed up her claims after they found themselves in a similar slime scare and resorted to using the white vinegar hack.
“I’m so thankful for this video! Sixth bath trying to wash this out of his hair and the one thing I hadn’t tried was vinegar, works!” one user wrote.
“Ran to tt [TikTok] for this. Kid just got sent home from school with slime all in her hair. THIS WORKED!!!! 10/10 TY,” a parent added.
