It’s a girl for Rio and Kate Ferdinand.
Rio and Kate Ferdinand have announced the birth of their second child together. The sportsman and former reality star confirmed their joyous news on Instagram.
They posted a beautiful black and white photo of their family’s hands placed on top of their newborn.
Kate confirmed she gave birth to a healthy baby girl on July 10th.
Alongside the photo, the proud parents confirmed the name of their daughter- Shae. The beautiful name means ‘stately gift’.
“Shae Ferdinand. 10.7.23. Our strong little girl,” they wrote.
Their friends and family showered them with loving messages following the announcement.
Ferne McCann wrote, :Congratulations. I love her name.”
“Congratulations darling. I really hope you & baby are both doing very well,” another shared.

Rio and Kate are also parents to a son named Cree (2). Kate is also a stepmum to Rio’s three children from his first marriage, Lorenz (16), Tate (14) and Tia (11).
Rio and the former TOWIE star started dating in January 2017. They announced their engagement in 2018 and tied the knot a year later in 2019.
Since marrying the sportsman, Kate has stepped away from the spotlight to focus on their blended family. She said Rio and their children will always be her first priority.
