Food always ends up on the floor in our house!
We can all agree that there’s nothing appetising about baby food. It looks like mush whether it ends up on your child’s bib, the ceiling, or the floor.
Too many of us have spent countless hours scrubbing the kitchen floor after our toddler decided it would be funny to dump the remainder of their dinner out of the bowl and into the grooves of the tiles.
It’s one of the many motherhood tasks I’d rather not do, but food ending up on the floor is a daily occurrence in our house.
Luckily, one mum has discovered a hack that will stop this from happening, but it may not be for everyone.
A TikTok user shared the video of her son eating his food in an unusual spot.
The mum placed her son inside a plastic box and he happily tucked into his food there rather than in his high chair.

The toddler still spilled food all over himself but it was contained in the box. All the mum had to do afterward was pour whatever food was in the box into the bin.
Simple!
Parents praised her after the genius hack went viral on TikTok.
One said: “You need to win some sort of award. This is genius.”
Another added: “This is the most brilliant thing ever!”
One said her dogs would be disappointed if she tried this hack because they’re like her own personal hoovers.
Another wrote: “I wish I had this idea when my son was a baby.”
