Some of these names are super cute!

Some baby names have risen in popularity this year, but others are so unpopular they're on the "brink of extinction". According to BabyCentre, names like Deirdre, Kelly, and Stacey are less popular than ever before. For baby boys, names like Bill, Harold, and Nigel are not proving popular with parents. Traditional and shorter monikers are growing in popularity with new parents. Many are opting for monikers like Emma, Fia, and Lily for little girls. Others are leaning toward traditional English names like Theo, Jack, and Harry. However, some older names like Gail, Shirley, Giles, and Quinton aren't having the same impact. These older names are so unpopular that parents aren't even considering them any more. So much so that the below list of names is on the "brink of extinction" in the UK. Are we surprised? Not really... You can view the full list of nearly extinct baby names below.
