Princess Charlotte celebrates her 8th birthday today.
The Princess of Wales has shared a new photo of Princess Charlotte to mark her 8th birthday. Kate Middleton, an avid photographer, captured Charlotte’s birthday portrait herself.
The photo, believed to be taken at their family home in Windsor, was posted by Prince William and Kate on their joint Instagram account.
They captioned the image, “Wishing Princess Charlotte a very happy birthday! 8 tomorrow”.
Fans of the royal couple couldn’t help but point out the similarities between Princess Charlotte and her father Prince William.
One wrote, “She is William’s mini-me. Happy birthday Princess Charlotte”.

Another added, “Sweet girl is so so big (and still her dad’s twin)! Happy birthday Charlotte”.
“Wow, she’s growing up so fast. She’s so beautiful and looks a lot like her dad,” another shared.
“Oh wow, she looks just like Prince William. She is going to be a Diana look alike, like her dad in her teen years,” another fan wrote.
Princess Charlotte is Princess Kate and Prince William’s only daughter.
Kate Middleton gave birth to Charlotte, their second child, at St. Mary’s Hospital on May 2nd, 2015.
The royal couple are also parents to sons Prince George and Prince Louis.
