Olly Murs shared the moment he found out he was going to be a dad
The singer recently announced that he and his wife, Amelia Tank, are set to become parents in the new year but now he revealed how he learned the big news.
In the adorable video, Olly could be seen standing there, mouth wide open, the moment Amelia places the positive pregnancy test into his hands.
Later in the video, the two opted to surprise their friends and family with the big news in a number of creative ways.
At one point Olly was seen pretending to take pictures of his friends and family, counting down from three to one, before shouting: “Amelia’s pregnant!” shocking the room.
Their shock soon turned to delight as everyone broke out into wide smiles and shouts, congratulating the couple.
Other moments showed Olly handing his pals a baby scan and they appeared to jump back in surprise before they realised what they were looking at.
At the end of the video, the two shared an intimate moment as it was the first time they heard their unborn baby’s heartbeat during an ultrasound.
They captioned their emotional video: “It wasn’t just our hearts that skipped a beat.”
The beautiful news comes less than six months on from when the couple tied the knot in July.
Olly and Amelia got married in a two-day festival on the private Osea island in Essex. The wedding, which was nicknamed Murs Fest, saw a number of big musical names perform, including Olly himself and fellow singer Craig David.
A total of 71 people joined the couple on the Friday night for a BBQ before they exchanged vows the following afternoon.
