Operation Transformation star Mary Diamond has passed away

Heartbreaking news.

Operation Transformation star Mary Diamond has sadly passed away at the age of 57. The heartbreaking news was confirmed on Operation Transformation's Instagram. Alongside a photo from Mary's time on the show in 2018, the team paid tribute to her. "We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of our 2018 Leader Mary Diamond who sadly passed away earlier this week."

"Mary was an absolute gem. It was honour and privilege to know her." The Operation Transformation team added, "May she rest in peace." Wanye O'Donnell, who also appeared on the 2018 series, said Mary was "always smiling". He confirmed that the 2018 leaders stayed close following the show. "It was a privilege to share my journey with Mary. We all became close friends and remained close after the show. Mary was always smiling and entertaining us. Such a lady !! We will always remember you Mary." "Mary Diamond was and always will be a gorgeous woman. Thinking of her wonderful family and many friends and so sorry for their loss," another said. One added, "Devastating news. An absolute delight to work with Mary on OT. She was a lady. Thinking of Mary’s family & also the OT family." Another also said Mary was "so supportive and always had a smile on her face". Mary is survived by her husband Joe and their three sons.
