Sinead Kennedy has paid an emotional tribute to her newborn
Though the RTÉ star opted not to show her latest edition’s face, she did share a snap of his tiny hand on top of a blanket with his name, Theo, embroidered on it.
Sinead seemed to be feeling reflective as she looked back on her 2023 in the caption.
“2023 was so good to me. The year that we met this guy,” she penned.
“But with everything that’s going on in the world right now, I can’t help but feel all the more grateful to be able to hold my babies close and put them down to sleep knowing that they are safe.
“I honestly don’t have the words for how devastating it is to watch everything unfold as it has been…”
The TV presenter concluded her post with the hashtags “#ceasefire #ceasefirenow #peace”.
Sinead’s followers filled her comment section with messages of congratulations and also praising her call for peace.
“Congrats and welcome to this world Theo, enjoy every moment” penned one while another added: “Welcome baby Theo, congratulations to you all Sinead.”
A third person shared similar sentiments about her call for peace, writing: “I feel exactly the same when I check on my kids before I go to bed and watch them sleep in their warm beds without a care in the world.
“I just wish I could gather up all the beautiful children living in turmoil and offer the same basic needs to each and every one of them.”
Baby Theo is Sinead’s second child as she also shares her daughter two-year-old daughter Indie with her husband Conor Kirwan.
