Stacey Solomon gives update on plans for more children

Stacey Solomon has shared an update with fans about her family life, revealing her future plans for more children.

The 33-year-old has revealed that herself and husband Joe Swash are “struggling to be good parents” to their six children – and have ruled out adding to that for the time being.

Taking to Instagram to share her future family plans, Stacey headed onto an Instagram Live as she was dying her hair as a way of catching up with her followers.

While she explained that she is ruling out having anymore children as of right now, she admitted that it would be a “dream to foster” in a few years.

Stacey said: “Me and Joe spoke about it when we had one night away. We could not have any more kids.”

She added: “At this point we are struggling to say the least to be good parents, and try and work and do everything else in between. So no not right now.”

When it came to the idea of fostering, Stacey previously revealed that she wouldn’t close herself off to that.

“When we’re older,” the 33-year-old clarified.

“Because when we went away we were a little bit like “Oh god, one day this will be us, just us two”, and we’ve got such a massive family the house is never quiet and we are never on our own.

“And we did say “Oh it will be sad when it’s just us two and all the kids are gone” so I think I would love to,” the mum of five said about their plans to foster children in the future.

“Joe’s mum fosters, and I would love to one day foster as well when we are older and all the kids are grown up and moved out, that would be our dream.”

The Loose Women star is mum to 15-year-old Zachary and 11-year-old Leighton who she had from previous relationships. She shares four-year-old Rex, almost two-year-old Rose and five-month-old Belle with Joe.

Stacey is also step-mum to Joe’s 16-year-old son Harry who he shares with Emma Sophocleous.
