Time goes by so quickly
Stacey Solomon shares the emotions of every parent who feels like time has gone by in the blink of an eye.
The media personality’s eldest son, Zachary, turned 16, which is something the mum-of-five can hardly believe.
We were introduced to Stacey and a one-year-old Zachary on the X Factor in 2009 and since then, she has welcomed fans into their lives at Pickle Cottage.
She welcomed her first son when she was 17 with her childhood sweetheart Dean Cox.
On this milestone birthday, the broadcaster reflected on their years together and expressed her pride in the man he has become.
“Happy 16th Zachary,” she began the heartfelt post.
“I can’t even believe I’m writing that! 16! I can’t explain how Zach changed my whole world. We grew up together. He is the KINDEST most empathetic, caring, incredible young man. His soul is magical and I can’t believe he’s my son.
“Zach You’re such a special person & I beam with pride at the man you have become. Every year but particularly this year, as a whole new part of your life begins, I question has it all been ok?
“I hope I’ve given you the best 16 years you could have wished for. I hope you feel even just a speckle of the joy you bring to us every single day. Because seriously Zachary you deserve the whole world. You ask for nothing & give your everything. To the moon and back…”
The birthday tribute featured a compilation of footage, showing memories of Zachary from a baby up to his teenage years.
The 16-year-old became a big brother for the first time in 2012 when Stacey welcomed her second son Leighton, 11, with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barham.
His mum went on to expand their family when she met her now-husband, Joe Swash, in 2016.
The couple share Rex, 4, Rose, 2, and Belle, 1, together, making the teenager a big brother to four siblings.
