It’s been a big year for Tadhg Fleming!
First, he got married to his childhood sweetheart and now he has announced that he’s going to be a dad.
The social media star announced that he and his wife Alannah are set to become parents in May of 2024 with an adorable Instagram.
Now if there’s one thing everyone knows about Tadhg it’s that he’s a family man, (let’s not forget where everything started for the star, CATCH HIM DERRY) so of course he told his parents the news in a sweet way.
The soon-to-be dad sat down with Sile Seoige and his father to explain how he let his family know about the new addition.
Before the real story could even begin, Derry was overcome by emotion; wiping tears away at the thought of being a grandad for the first time.
“We went over, we kept it relatively private but we said it to mom and dad,” Tadhg explained.
So what was their first reaction? Tears? Big smiles? Not quite.
“It was like the Covid thing, I thought he had Covid,” Derry explained with a laugh, “And I said, ‘Have you covid?'”
“Yeah, myself and Alannah, we came over the two of us to tell you I had Covid,” Tadhg replied.
“But it’s beautiful like, the two of us, Maureen and myself we were in an embrace,” Derry continues before becoming too emotional to speak, “and we were just saying, we’re going to be grandparents.”
Yet Tadhg couldn’t resist cracking a joke and said: “He’s crying because the baby is going to be over with them the whole time.”
