TikTok mum hits back at trolls after revealing what her toddler eats
A mum has hit back at trolls after they slated her over her toddler's diet.
Like many people, she shared a 'what I eat in a day' but a toddler edition on TikTok. The mum explained that this was a busy day for her so she didn't have a lot of time to prepare meals for her kids.
She wrote, "What I fed my toddlers vs what they actually ate *busy day edition*."
For their breakfast, her children had Krispy Kreme donuts. They both ate all of the food on their breakfast plates, but commenters slated her for giving the kids an unhealthy breakfast.
One said, "I am in no way shaming this mom but if I had given my toddlers donuts they would be so disregulated, tantrums, sugar crash. Not worth it for them."
Another added, "Donuts are a fun start but it’s always better to pair it with a protein (maybe a smoothie?) to lower the blood sugar spike!"
For their lunch, the children had homemade pizza and chips, but they didn't finish the meal.
For their dinner, the kids had McDonalds with watermelon.
Parents praised the mum for being so honest about what she gives their kids to eat.
Many agreed that their children have similar days when they don't eat incredibly healthily, but it is perfectly fine.
"Idk why people are hating like you haven't eaten like this on a lazy day or not eating this once every so what ain’t bad."
Another said, "This makes me feel better as a mum to a picky toddler."
"Her kids are fed and happy! You’re doing great!!" another said.
The mum is trying her best and stressed that her kids tend to eat healthier on less busy days.
