Pram struggles are a very real thing.
Prior to actually requiring a pram I had never really noticed prams or pram users at all (see point 8). Then once I was in the market for one they were all I could see everywhere. I did all my pram research in my local park where I watched pram pros expertly navigating the uneven terrain and endless Dublin potholes with a finesse I presumed I would one day possess.
I never acquired this flair sadly and now spend most of my days shoving the unwieldy contraption up hills, around dog sh*t and down into crater-like potholes muttering under my breath about how this world was not made for buggies.

8. A pram has the ability to make a woman invisible, they are a fantastic defence against embarrassing catcalls on the street. Not that I was particularly inundated with catcalls before the pram, but now with pram in tow I am rarely even looked at by passing gentlemen (I've noticed quite irritatingly that The Man has the opposite problem entirely: The pram has basically DOUBLED the attention he receives when out and about. Rage.)
