As parents, we’re often stuck for time when it comes to our day-to-day lives.

Every minute is taken up with school runs, football matches, making dinners, ironing uniforms, and reading bedtime stories.

They say when you become a parent you start living for your kids and it couldn’t be more true.

Our own needs and wants are often put to the side, but we also can’t neglect ourselves completely.

We need to invest some time, even if it is just a little bit, in taking care of ourselves.

There’s one lifestyle trend parents are raving about because it isn’t half as time-consuming as attending a class in the gym.

The 75 Soft Challenge is all about looking after yourself and ensuring you’re doing little things to boost your health and well-being.

The rules of the 75 Soft Challenge include:

  1. Eating well and ensuring your diet is full of nutrients and food that makes you feel good
  2. Limiting alcohol and only drinking on special occasions
  3. Drink three litres of water per day
  4. Read ten pages of a book every day
  5. Exercise for 45 minutes for 75 days whether that’s a jog, walk, or dance around the kitchen

The challenge isn’t accessible to everyone, but it is one fitness trend that is helping parents feel better without taking up too much of their time.
