A white Christmas is looking (slightly) more likely

HerFamily

We’ve all noticed the drop in temperature in recent days – we’re donning our woolly hats way more often and we’re adding an extra layer to each child – so it comes as no surprise that the white Christmas rumours have started swirling again.

The odds for some snowfall in Dublin on December 25th currently sit at 4/1 according to Ladbrokes. (We like those odds!)

Next weekend is expected to see even cooler conditions (note to self: add another layer to each child) which has increased the chances of some snow over the upcoming festive season.

Knock is also sitting at 4/1, as is Shannon. The odds for a white Christmas in Belfast are a little shorter at 7/2.

As for the chance of the white stuff falling on all 12 days of Christmas in the Irish capital, that’s 33/1.

While we have our doubts that we’re in for a white Christmas (we get our and everyone else’s hopes up every year), it won’t stop us dreaming…
