Coleen Rooney Heartbroken After Treasured Photos Of Her Late Sister Stolen

Alison Bough

Coleen Rooney turned to Twitter yesterday to warn her fans that her brother’s car had been broken into and irreplaceable photographs of her late sister Rosie McLoughlin were stolen.

The columnist said that the break-in had occurred while her brother was in the David Lloyd gym in the Speke area of Liverpool,

“Please be aware off a lot of car break ins…my brothers car got done Sunday and they took a laptop containing sentimental photos of his son and my sister Rosie. He’s having no luck as the staff [at the gym] being really difficult in helping him and to deal with.”

Coleen’s adopted sister Rosie, who had a rare genetic neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome, died on the 5th of January 2013 at the young age of fourteen. The disorder affects just one in 12,000 females and causes severe physical and mental disabilities from early childhood.

The theft of the treasured family photographs came as an extra blow, coming just days after what would have been Rosie’s 19th birthday. Last week Coleen, who is the eldest of four siblings, posted a snap of her beloved sister to her Instagram account captioned “Happy Birthday to our Angel Rosie”.
