Brian Dowling and his husband Arthur are hoping to expand their family
Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian are officially in talks about having a second child.
The dads are reportedly looking for a surrogate to carry their child and we couldn’t be happier for them.
The parents confirmed they wanted another child in November 2023 and now they’ve started the process.
Speaking about their growing family, Arthur told The Independent that they’re officially trying for their second child.
“Listen, I’ve always been loud about it, I want Blake to have siblings, I’m not getting any younger.
Arthur said they’ve always wanted to have more than one child.
“We want her to have someone to play with,” he added.
He added: “I definitely want it to happen, so fingers crossed. If it happens, great, and if it doesn’t, that is life.”
Brian and Arthur previously revealed they hoped to have another child in November. Brian said he loves the idea of Blake being a big sister.
He told the Mail on Sunday: “We would love for Blake to be a big sister. This is something we’ve discussed at length.
“I’m happy to say we are back on the baby train. Choo choo!” Brian said.
Arthur added: “Fingers crossed! As Brian said, the baby train is on the way.”
Brian and Arthur welcomed their little girl Blake into the world in 2022.
Brian’s sister Aoife was their surrogate and the dads have often praised her for making their dream come true.
We’re wishing the dads the best of luck as they start growing their family. What an exciting time for them.
