If the Netflix team follows the books then Benedict is up next. The second-eldest Bridgerton sibling is likely to take center stage next season, but what does his story entail? Season 3 may follow the story of Benedict and Sophie, who sneaks into Lady Bridgerton's famous masquerade ball. At the ball, Sophie, who is actually a maid, meets Benedict. "Though the daughter of an earl, Sophie has been relegated to the role of servant by her stepmother. "Sophie knows all enchantments must end when the clock strikes midnight." Benedict completely falls for Sophie from the moment they meet, but she is nowhere to be seen once the ball ends. He can think of nothing but Sophie since that night but finds himself drawn to the new housemaid. "He feels compelled to rescue from a most disagreeable situation." Benedict promises he will find the woman he danced with at the ball, but he has no idea who she truly is. Book three's storyline sounds far greater than we expected.
