The mum-of-four is taking her recovery at her own pace

Kourtney Kardashian has shared an encouraging message about her postpartum recovery.

The eldest Kardashian sister welcomed her fourth child, and first with husband Travis Barker, last month, a son named Rocky Thirteen.

Rocky joined a blended family as the couple are already parents to six children between them.

Kourtney shares three children – Mason, 13, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 9 – with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick.

Barker is already a father to son Landon, 20, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

The Poosh founder is almost two months postpartum and shared a snap of her first day back in the gym.

“7 weeks postpartum. First day in the gym,” Kourtney wrote on her Instagram story.

“Taking it easy, no rush,” she continued. “No pressure mamas, your body is healing, it’s not a race.”

The 44-year-old shared that her gym routine will consist of a 30-minute walk on the treadmill at a speed of 3 miles per hour at an incline of 12, as she recovers from the birth of her son.

While the parents have yet to introduce their newest arrival on social media, Kourtney took the opportunity to give a special mention to Travis’ new role on his birthday.

“To my husband, my soulmate, my best friend, my lover, my daddy to our baby boy, my everything…” she wrote on November 14th.

“I wish you the happiest birthday. You make all of my dreams come true and I feel so blessed to have you by my side. I love you beyond words, forever.”
