Saoirse Ruane is currently being treated at CHI Crumlin after doctors discovered a recurrent tumour.
Saoirse Ruane's mum has praised her brave daughter for completing another day of treatment. Her mum confirmed Saoirse has completed her seventh day of cancer treatment and said she has been the "bravest girl".
Roseanna shared a photo of her little girl on Instagram and documented their day after Saoirse finished up in the hospital. The pair visited the Disney store on Grafton Street and went to Bewleys for a treat after another day of treatment.
Saoirse is undergoing treatment for a recurrent tumour at Crumlin Children's Hospital. Her family confirmed the 11-year-old had been diagnosed with cancer again in April.
Despite the ongoing treatment and hospital visits,
Saoirse's doctors made sure the 11-year-old could enjoy her Confirmation this month. Her mum praised their loved ones for making sure Saoirse still had the most incredible day despite all she is currently going through.
Her mum wrote on Instagram, "I’m sure you’ll all understand the emotional rollercoaster in the run-up to the event and hoping Saoírse would be well enough to attend."
"We are very thankful to our team for allowing her to take a day off treatment in order to be able to celebrate such a momentous occasion with her classmates," her mum added.
"Plenty of tears were shed when the bishop approached Saoírse and confirmed her."
Her mum said it was extremely emotional seeing her little girl reach another milestone in life.

Saoirse wanted was to be surrounded by her family on her special day.
