"Why wasn't my child included?"
A mum has been left heartbroken after discovering her deaf child's classmates have failed to invite her to parties.
Her child hasn't been invited to birthday parties, soft play dates, or other outings.
The heartbroken mum said her kid has been going to nursery since she was 9 months old. She is now 2 and a half and has a fair few friends in the nursery.
She told
Mumsnet;
"I recently learned that 3 children have had birthday parties at soft play and community centres and invited the rest of the class but not my child."
"It upset me a little for my little one but more than that I am left questioning why my child isn't included."
The mum said she can't understand why her kid isn't invited because she is friendly, gets on with everyone, and is kind.
"I can't think why they would leave her out," she admitted.
"My baby is deaf and wears double hearing aids so does struggle a bit with communication sometimes.
"I'm not saying this is the reason at all. But just don't want to drip-feed. Should I mention this to any of the parents in passing or just keep my mouth shut?"
