The CEO of a marketing company has refused to back down after hitting the headlines for claiming that women are too hormonal to take on the role of President.

Commenting on her private Facebook page after US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced her intention to run in the 2016 US Presidential election, Go Ape Marketing founder Cheryl Rios wrote:

“If this happens – I am moving to Canada,”

“There is NO need for her as she is not the right person to run our country – but more importantly a female shouldn’t be president. Let the haters begin.”

Defending her view in an interview with CBS, Rios said the president “should always be a man”.

Adding fuel to an already blazing fire, Rios continued:”We’re built differently, we do have different hormones and in the world that we live in – I understand that we have equal rights, and I think that’s a wonderful thing and I support all of that – but I don’t support a woman being president,”
