Kids are great.
Having them is great, bringing them up is great, living with them is great – they’re all pretty much great.
However, that doesn’t mean that there are some things that parents miss about life before children – because they’re are.
When you start a family, there are certain things that you have to sacrifice, and there are certain things that Irish parents, in particular, miss from the Time Before.
And, unsurprisingly, the thing that they miss most is Sunday morning lie ins.
Hardly a surprise.
A study conducted by Pampers showed that seven out of 10 parents underestimated how much of an impact having children would have on their day-to-day lives.
Despite this though, nine out of 10 parents also said that having a child was the best thing they’ve ever done so, you know, worth it.
That doesn’t mean they’re not going to miss a few things though. As well as lie ins, parents also miss leaving the house at a moment’s notice, spending money guilt free, and not having to worry about a babysitter.
Same, tbh.
