What’s more annoying than bickering with your kids?

When they bicker with each other. Sometimes it can feel like you’ll never win the war no matter how many times you threaten the naughty step.

Thankfully TikTok might have a solution. Considering it’s the platform where you can find hacks on how to clean the oven and take up a pair of jeans, we’re not surprised.

Kellie Henry (@oh.henrys) took to TikTok to share a hack for other parents who are fed up with dealing with World War Three at home.

The creator, who is spreading the love because her hack has worked well for her family for at least a year, says in the viral video that trying to keep things fair among the kids “gets super annoying”.

On top of just sharing straight facts, she revealed the way she keeps the peace between her brood.

“So I’ve just assigned my kids a day of the week,” Kellie explains. She adds that she has four kiddos and Monday through Thursday she gives each of them a day, in order from youngest to oldest.

Yet what does that mean exactly? A day where they can duke it out in the ring with a sibling of their choice? Not quite.

“On their day, they have extra responsibilities, but they also get special treatment,” she said. So on a child’s day, they are required to empty the dishwasher, take out the trash, feed the dog, etc.

Yet with those chores also come rewards, such as getting to choose where they sit in the car, helping to decide what’s for dinner, and picking a show on TV. All the stuff that matters when you’re young.

“They are the king and queen of the day,” mum told her followers, going on to confess that this system has lowered her stress levels, as well as reduced the constant battles between siblings.

Though it works for Kellie, it might not be for every parent, sometimes telling your kids to sit down and be quiet or else the TV is going to be turned off is enough!
